Chiropractics
All of our Chiropractors are registered with the Australian Health Practitioners Authority (AHPRA) and have provider numbers to claim your Private Health Insurance.
At the end of each appointment, we can swipe your insurance card or use the “tap” feature if you have the card on your phone to receive your rebate on the spot.
The amount you receive from your private health insurance is unique to your coverage. Generally, you will have a set amount for chiropractics that renews every calendar or financial year.
Myotherapy and Massage
Depending on your level of coverage, you may be eligible to receive a rebate on Myotherapy and Massage with our therapist, Jean Smole. Jean is registered with most private health insurance providers, and on-the-spot claims are possible. However, suppose you expect a rebate, but we cannot process it through our HICAPS terminal on the spot. In that case, you will need to pay in full for your treatment, and we will supply you with an itemised receipt with everything you need to claim directly with your health fund.
AFTER YOUR ADJUSTMENT
- You will be given some simple recommendations and instructions to follow after your visit. These may be pain management instructions, prevention instructions or simple exercises.
- You may feel immediate relief after your first adjustment but you may also experience some extra swelling or feel a little sore. This is normal and will settle within the next two days.
- Depending on the results from your first adjustment and examination, we will discuss with you the next steps. It is all dependent on the case and the individual, so the response will vary from patient to patient.
